There is an age-old saying, “Nothing succeeds like success”. Many great leaders have followed and preached this mantra. One of the key traits to be successful is to be persistent. Persistence is a decision. It is a commitment to finish what you start.
In leadership training, you are also trained on how to be persistent. If you are among those mediocre person, you will quit on the first opportunity you get or obstacle you face. But if you are a winner, you will always bounce back.
Take an example of a winning athlete. He endures pain and finishes what he started. He takes a practice sprint even if body says I am done. Lots of failures have begun well but have not concluded anything. Persistence comes from purpose. And life without purpose is drifting. A person who has no purpose in life will never persevere and will never be fulfilled.
Persistence is a decision not an option or choice for success.
